Games Like Farm Frenzy: 8 Busy Builders Farm Frenzy Fans Play Next
Every Farm Frenzy player knows this moment: the bear is heading for your geese, the truck is waiting to go to town, the cheese is almost ready, and you have three clicks to decide which one matters most. If you are looking for games like Farm Frenzy, you are probably chasing that exact feeling: a little world that only runs well when you keep every part of it moving.
We checked what Farm Frenzy players on GameFools buy next. Some head for more farms, and a lot of them find a second home in a different kind of builder. Here are the eight they pick most.
First, Have You Played the Whole Series?
The original Farm Frenzy is just the start: raise chickens and cows, keep the predators away, and turn eggs and milk into cheese, butter and cake to sell in town. Farm Frenzy 2 and Farm Frenzy 3 build on it, and there are many more spin-offs. See them all on our Farm Frenzy collection page.
1. My Farm Life
The closest match on the list. In My Farm Life, Lisa is the star of a new TV show about life on a farm, and every episode is a level. You plant and harvest crops, care for the animals and keep production moving, with a local merchant and three helpers on your side, all while aiming for Show of the Year and Farmer of the Year.
The TV show story gives the farming a goal beyond clearing levels. If you enjoy it, My Farm Life 2 is just as popular with Farm Frenzy fans.
2. Farming Fever 3
Farming Fever 3 adds a kitchen to the farm. You grow the crops and then cook them into dishes for your customers, across 120 levels in three locations, with 40 extra levels if you want a harder challenge.
Next to My Farm Life, it leans more toward the restaurant side, so it works for players who also love Cake Mania or Delicious. It is the biggest game here if you want lots of levels.
3. Farmscapes
A calmer farm. In Farmscapes, Joe and his granddaughter Scarlett bring a neglected family farm back to life. Instead of racing the clock, you earn resources through match-3 puzzles and hidden object searches, then spend them planting crops, restoring buildings and decorating the ranch.
It has the same "watch your farm grow" reward as Farm Frenzy without the pressure, which makes it a nice change of pace between frantic levels.
4. Gnomes Garden 3
This is where a lot of Farm Frenzy fans discover a new favorite kind of game. In Gnomes Garden 3 you travel through the Grey Wastelands to save your family and win back your castle from an evil warlock. Each level is a map to clear: you gather resources, build structures and send your workers to open the way forward.
It scratches the same itch as Farm Frenzy, keeping several jobs going at once and deciding what to do first, but on a map instead of a farmyard. If you like it, the next three picks play the same way.
5. Golden Rails: The Heart of the State
In Golden Rails: The Heart of the State, Jack and Jill help a candidate for governor rebuild a neglected state. You clear scrap from the streets, clean up polluted springs, repair the railroads and fix up the parks, while corrupt officials and bandits try to slow you down.
Compared to Gnomes Garden, it feels more down to earth: towns and trains instead of warlocks. There are more Golden Rails games on our Golden Rails collection page.
6. Incredible Dracula V: Vargosi Returns
The most popular of these builders with Farm Frenzy players. In Incredible Dracula V: Vargosi Returns, Dracula is away when his old enemy Count Vargosi escapes to find the Moon Well, so his wife Elizabeth takes charge and leads the gang after him.
Do not let the name fool you. It is a silly, family-friendly series with a sense of humor, not a horror game. See the whole series on our Incredible Dracula collection page.
7. Rescue Team: Clouded Mind
In Rescue Team: Clouded Mind, a cult is spreading a mind-bending substance around the world and the Rescue Team answers the distress calls. You repair damaged landscapes, rescue civilians and plan every move of your team, and the levels get more demanding as you go.
It is the most action-packed of the builders, with a rescue story instead of a fairy tale. Our Rescue Team: Phantom Crisis review shows what the series is like.
8. Paradise Pet Salon
For Farm Frenzy fans who mostly loved the animals. In Paradise Pet Salon you grow a small corner pet spa into a thriving business, washing, grooming and styling furry clients while the evil Pet Corp tries to put you out of business.
It plays more like a classic time management game than a builder: customers arrive, you serve them, and you try to keep everyone happy. A good pick if you want something lighter.
How These Compare to Farm Frenzy
All eight keep Farm Frenzy's busy pace, but they ask different things of you. My Farm Life and Farming Fever 3 are the closest: production chains where one thing feeds the next. Gnomes Garden, Golden Rails, Incredible Dracula and Rescue Team swap the farmyard for a map, so you are planning a route through the level and deciding which job to do first with a small crew. Farmscapes slows everything down with puzzles, and Paradise Pet Salon is about serving customers quickly. In every one of them, the fun is the same as Farm Frenzy's: lots of little decisions, made fast.
